How to get here

We are a short distance from Phuket International Airport, about 12.5 kilometers which should take about 20 minutes by car. The maps below should help and we highly recommend that you either show your driver the Thai version below or you can download and/or print a copy here.

If driving look out for the white posts along the middle of the highway 402 showing the distance in kilometers from Phuket town and spaced every 100 meters. When traveling north towards the Sarasin Bridge, at the 37 km marker you will see signs for Holiday Inn, Mai Khao Beach Bungalows and D-Varee Hotel. Turn left here onto the side road 3016 and travel for 2 kilometers until you see more signs and turn right. Don't worry if you miss the turning to 3016, just take the next U-turn and another to come back and try again. Follow the road for another 2 kilometers. You will travel around a lake to the right, go past the Holiday Inn towards D-Varee Hotel. Just past the D-Varee entrance you will see a private road with a gate that leads to Seaside Cottages. There is a private road to the beach and about 400 meters to Reception.

Arriving by Taxi

Due to new airport regulations, we can no longer arrange transfers from the airport. You will be able to hire a taxi at the kiosks outside the arrivals building. If hiring your own taxi, it is essential that you print out directions in Thai from here.
There are other taxi services at the airport who will charge you whatever they can get so be very careful. Please refuse to pay any more than 700 Baht. It's only a 20 minute journey and should cost around 300-500 Baht in a metered taxi. The metered taxis are the most reliable and they will give you the best price. 100 Baht Airport Tax will be charged in addition to the fare. Please note that many of the drivers may not know where we are or even tell you that we are closed and take you to a different resort where they earn commission. This is common practice in Phuket and other parts of Thailand.
Please note that we may not answer the phone to give directions during busy periods or after hours.

BUS

There are regular local buses from Phuket town to Mai Khao costing around 50 Baht per person. It takes about 1 hour and will stop on the main highway at the 37km marker. You can either walk from there 4km or you maybe able to hire a motorcycle taxi. Buses from other parts of the country will normally stop at the police checkpoint or further along the main highway (Marriott entrance). You can hire a taxi or 20 minutes walk from there.

Walking/Hiking

If you're fit and don't mind the heat you can reach us by walking along the beach either from the airport at Nai Yang or from Sarasin Bridge at the most northern part of Phuket. Either direction should take around 60-90 minutes (don't forget to carry some water and a hat if you're not used to the sun). If traveling from the main highway just follow our blue signs until you get to the beach which is about 2km from the road. 12.8km about 14 mins from Phuket International Airport
